Status of the publisher

IKASpot hosts content supplied by its users. The publisher does not review members' posts before they appear. Under article 6-I-2 of the French Act on Confidence in the Digital Economy (loi pour la confiance dans l'économie numérique), the publisher can only be held liable from the moment it becomes aware of manifestly unlawful content and fails to act promptly to remove it.

Reporting content

Every spot and every comment carries a report button, available to any signed-in member. Reports are handled by the moderation team.

Content reported as personal data or unlawful is removed from the map automatically on the very first report, pending human review. Other reasons trigger automatic removal at the third distinct report.

For anything that cannot go through that form — image rights, invasion of privacy, a rights holder's claim — write to noreply@ikaspot.eu with the exact address of the content concerned and the reason for your request.

Intellectual property

Photographs and text published on IKASpot remain the property of their authors. By publishing them, a member grants IKASpot a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them on the site and in sharing previews.

Map data comes from OpenStreetMap, under the ODbL licence, and is served by OpenFreeMap.
